My brother and I were cub scouts at Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico in the early 1960's. Often the cub scouts would have the responsibility of delivering the base paper to as many homes as possible. On Saturday, about six of the scouts from "Den 3" loaded up in our family car. We set out to deliver papers with our Den 3 flag tied to the radio antenna of our car. We delivered papers in one area and piled into the car to go to the next area.
We were driving down a road to the next housing area when the MP's pulled us over. We wondered what was going on as the MP spoke to the driver. It seems that someone called the MP's saying some communists were passing out propaganda on the base and had a communists flag flying from a car. Glad that they clearded that up before anything happened. (This was during the 1960's and we were close to Cuba.)
